Up a River without a...

I'm feeling less sloth-like lately. I joined a gym. That's a start. I've also got off my butt and put out a few job applications. It's about time, I know. Anyway, now I play the waiting game and see if anybody is actually going to call me back before I go calling all of them. Fun times.

I visited my friend Sarah in Gainesville and we went tubing down a river while rednecks threw water balloons at us and drove by on boats with six packs of Bud. The water was murky. And when it came time to get out, Sarah had to abandon tube so she wouldn't float away!!! Meanwhile, I was grabbing onto tree branches so as not to be sucked downstream by the current. It's really hard to doggie paddle in an inner tube.

I've also compiled a list of movies I need to see:

The Notebook -was against seeing it because of sap factor but have heard really really good things

Benny and Joon- So sometimes I like to watch movies just to see a clip from a preview. In this case, Depp makes potatos dance on forks. And who knows, the rest of the movie might be ok as well.

daVinci Code-Yeah, I know it doesn't come out until next summer but I want to see it so it's on the list.

Rent-Again with the not being released yet thing, but at least it's coming out this year. Woohoo!
