Pick a hamster name contest

Ok, I'm having a hamster naming contest. The winner gets an authentic Sacajawea gold dollar(not valid in the u.s.) and a picture of the hamster. Entries are to be posted under comments for this blog. You must give a name and an explanation for choosing that particular name. The only rules are that you cannot give me colors as names. Par example; brownie, blackie, whitey, etc, etc, etc will be tossed out like yesterdays trash. Deadline for this contest is April 1, 2005 so get on with it already.

I'm particularly fond of classical names for hamsters(hence Atalanta, Goliath, Archimedes and Sibil). Here is my bizarre list of classical names for a little _girl_ hamster:

-Antigone (or Ismene, the more retiring sister)
-Medea (if you think she's a little crazy or vicious)
-Penelope
-Ipheginia
-Pandora
-Pithia or Cassandra (If you think she can see the future!)
-Eurydice
-Ariadne
-Calypso
-Electra (don't worry about the complex tho, it's actually based on Ophelia)
-Hypatia (if she's very smart)

or of course you could also go with Helen, if she's the most beautiful hamster in the world.

Then there are all the goddess names if you don't think that's too presumptious:
-Artemis
-Aphrodite
-Hecate
-Hera
-Gaia
-Hestia
-Demeter
-Athena
-Persephone

And the muses:
-Erato (Lyrics)
-Euterpe (Music)
-Thalia (Comedy)
-Melpomene (Tragedy)
-Terpsichore (Dance and Choral Song)
-Urania (Astronomy)
-Clio (Historical and Heroic Poetry)
-Polyhymnia (Hymns)
-Calliope (Epics)

Of course there are many more heroines of classical stories...plus the furies, the grey sisters, the fates, the gorgons, the harpies, the naiads and the three graces (splendor, mirth and good cheer) all oh whom have names that might work.
