Notes on a Scandal

Very Bizarre. Having no clue what I was getting myself into, I agreed to go see this move with my friend Emily. Ok, maybe that's a lie. I knew there was a scandal, but I just assumed for some reason that it had something to do with the government or celebrities. I was wrong. I'm not going to give anything away but I will say this. Judi Dench creeped me out in the worst way throughout this movie. I hope she wins an Oscar because she hit the nail on the head with this character, as bizarre as it turned out to be. To give you the vibe in the movie theatre, I will just say that there was a man sitting behind us who, every now and then, would utter "JESUS" under his breath and let out deep sighs. Yep, it's that kind of movie. Have I intrigued you?

I should have saved the fish

I was walking the causeway with my friends Emily and Lisa when I noticed a fish lying on the concrete. It was still breathing so our first reaction was to toss it back into the ocean. I bent down to try to get a hold of it and it flopped all over the place. Just as I was about to grab it this girl yells from about 20 ft away, "That's my fish! I just caught it!" so I left it alone, apologized, and kept walking. Now after this happened I kept thinking how easy it would have been to pick up the fish and toss it into the ocean anyway, thereby saving its life. But no, I had to walk away and leave the poor floppy fish to be used as bait to catch a bigger fish. Sadness. I hope it flopped its way back in before she got to it.

GREASE

I just finished watching that new reality tv show where they're searching for the next Danny and Sandy to star in Grease on Broadway. I always like watching those auditions because I have sooo been in their shoes. Some of the people don't take rejection well at all but if you want to be an actor, you better get used to it. I just recently tried out for a Broadway casting agency in Orlando and while it was a good experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat, I don't think I'll be hearing from them anytime soon. Obla-Di Obla-Da life goes on and what-not.
