Pick a hamster name contest

Ok, I'm having a hamster naming contest. The winner gets an authentic Sacajawea gold dollar(not valid in the u.s.) and a picture of the hamster. Entries are to be posted under comments for this blog. You must give a name and an explanation for choosing that particular name. The only rules are that you cannot give me colors as names. Par example; brownie, blackie, whitey, etc, etc, etc will be tossed out like yesterdays trash. Deadline for this contest is April 1, 2005 so get on with it already.

howdily doodily neighborinos

I'm at work and it is sooooooooooo sloooooooooooooow. It was either do a blog entry or stare at the wall. So here I am.

I bought a mood ring yesterday because it was green and yesterday was St. Patty's Day. But then I put it on and it changed to purple, red, amber, yellow, green, green witha blue ring around it, blue, purple with a yellow ring around it, etc, etc. The funny thing is I got like 10 different people to try it on. Here are some of the results:(I could tell you what they mean but I don't have the meanings so I will just guess)::

Jerry Boss-purple with amber ring, then amber-STRESS
Adam-amber-STRESS and thinking too much :)
Jess-Turquoise-CALM no wait, I mean calm.
Terry-inconclusive(that just means I forgot) Stressed I think
Emily-bluish-turqoisish-also calm. She tried it on after a Stressed out person and it immediately changed to blue.
Me-all the colors of the rainbow but mostly bright lime green. I think it meant that I was cold.

MOOD RINGS
Hours of excitement for you and your friends.
Pick one up today!! Only $2.25 at the scary hole-in-the-wall thrift store behind Guitar Haven. Well, what are you waiting for??
warning-mood rings may be hazardous to your sanity. They should not be used to diagnose a medical condition or predict future events. Wear at your own risk. Side effects vary and include amnesia, upset stomach, warm hands, cold hands, blank stares, hypnosis, and ADHD.

Don't go wasting your emotion...

Lay all your love on meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

It's an ABBA song from Mamma Mia. I am bored and listening to ABBA.

You can dance, you can jive,
Having the time of your life,
Ooh, see that girl, watch that scene
Digging the dancing queen

Anyway, Life is good today. I am off from work and I just got home from another awesome pilates class. That's right, I'm a pilates junkie now.

Now I'm debating whether or not to get my hairs cut. If you think of a good haircut for me, e-mail me a picture and I'll pretend like I value your opinion enough to try that haircut and then get it cut like I want it anyway!! ;) J/k Who loves ya???

Update on the cd

well, I just looked up "My Best Friends Wedding" CD and two of the songs on the list are on that soundtrack. In case you were wondering, the song they serenade Julia with at the table is I Say A Little Prayer for You by Diana King. Also, If You Wanna Be Happy is on the cd. Two birds with one stone indeed :) I have also added the following songs to the list:

I'll Be
By Edwin McCain

It sux because I found out they won't be releasing a Wedding Date soundtrack so now I have to do some extra digging to find out the song at the end of the movie.

Wait....I think I'm onto something here. I believe the song I'm looking for is

Save The Last Dance
by Michael Buble

Woo and Hoo!!

I'm compiling a cd of relaxing songs

Tina's happy fun time cd
1. Walking Memphis(made it on the list because I just saw it used in a dance recital and because Brandon was actually walking in Memphis the other day)
by Marc Cahn

2. The song they sing at the table during "My Best Friend's Wedding" that I can't think of at the moment but really like(if you know the song, leave me a comment).

3. The song that is at the end of "The Wedding Date" Movie(once again, help me out here!)

4. At Last
by Etta James

5. Across the Universe
by Lennon/Beatles and later redone by someone like Sheryl Crow or Fiona Apple and used in the credits of the movie "Pleasantville".

6. A song that has the lyrics "If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life....something about a pretty wife".

Ok, so this is the vaguest( yeah, it's a word. If it wasn't one before, it is now) list ever but it's my list and that's that :)

Doctor's Talent Show

I'm at work for a doctor's talent show fundraiser. It was pretty amusing, actually. Some doctors danced to Macho Man, and others played instruments and sang. well ok, so they should keep their day jobs but at least it was for a good cause.

Now the doctors won't leave. LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE!!!! Well, at least I'm getting paid for being here although I have a headache and I'm exhausted from going to a one year old's birthday party today. It was at the beach and I sat outside in the sun for like two hours. I forgot how draining that can be. I came back to work and I was like a zombie. I am still like a zombie. Nothing has changed! And now zombie is hungry. What should zombie eat? Zombie wants to eat some Carabbas because they cooked for the doctor event. Oh well. Zombie will just eat when zombie gets home. Maybe zombie should stop referring to herself as zombie. Wow, weird things happen when I am tired...

good movie

I just watched this really good movie, In America. It's about this family that moves to America from Ireland. I like it because it just goes through their everyday life and what they have to deal with. They live in this apartment building that is home to drug dealers and scary people but that's the only place they can afford. I could give you the entire story or I could just let you watch it for yourself. I think I'll let you watch it. :)
