Tonight we're gonna party like we're 99

I'm at work on this lovely Saturday evening because this group is having a 99 birthday bash for a woman at the Henegar Center. Something that makes me wonder is why they are having the event from 6-12am. I mean, how many 99 year olds out there do you know that stay up past 9pm, let alone midnight. Well good for her!

Anyway, I would like to invite all bloggers who know Tom R. to come to his going away party on Sunday from 5-9pm at the Henegar. There will be a main course but we're doing pot-luck on everything else. Tommy is going away to join the world of police dispatchers, never to return. Well, thats a bit dramatic. Let's just say we will go from seeing him every day to probably once or twice a week. For those of you who don't know Tom and/or don't care, why are you still reading this? Just kidding. It's a free country. Do what you want.

On another note, I bought a memory enhancing book and a book about the seven wonders of the world. WONDERful. I don't think I have a bad memory per say; I just think that I don't take time to remember things like people's names and where I left my car keys and why I went in the kitchen in the first place. I think my problem is I jump from one idea to the next without much consideration. I need to work on focusing on one thing at a time.

So....

The musical rehearsals are going well. I had a scary experience with trying on costumes yesterday though. I'm in the adult chorus so I have to look like an adult. The teen chorus is lucky because they get to wear cute poodle skirts and pedal pushers. Meanwhile, the costumers were giving the adults FREAKIN MOO-MOOS and saying "Here, just put a belt on and see what it looks like." This thing was ten times too big and from the 1970's. It looks like they raided a hippy convention. I am tempted to go out costume hunting myself. You have to feel comfortable with what your wearing or else it's gonna suck. I do not feel like going out on stage in a dress that 5 of me could fit into.

Well well well

So at last we meet again. I've been preoccupied with a little thing called work. It can engulf you if you're not careful. All work and no play make Tina something something. Go Crazy? Don't mind if I do...

That was a joke. That's right. I'm also funny.

It's late and I have absolutely nothing to write about. Ummm. I'm trying to stay up late enough to see SNL tonight but I don't know that I'm going to make it. It's been a long day so far.

Oh, ok, I have something. I'm kind of peeved that I missed Second City auditions. Well, technically I didn't miss them but I missed registering for them. SUCK!! I really wanted to try out for them so I could get paid for being funny. I'm not giving up though. I'm still gonna send them my resume and bug them until they accept me just to shut me up and make me stop bothering them. What a plan.

This just in... I broke my rolly thing on my desk.

This just in...I fixed it.
